You may notice a 3% service fee on your check at our downtown Chicago location. We want to be transparent about what this fee is — and what it is not.

This fee is not a gratuity and is not distributed as a tip to your server. Any gratuity you choose to leave goes 100% directly to our service staff.

Like many restaurants, we continue to experience increases in wages, benefits, utilities, and other operating expenses. Rather than frequently raising menu prices, we’ve added this modest service fee to help offset rising costs while keeping menu pricing as stable as possible. This approach also allows us to adjust more easily as conditions change.

If you prefer not to pay this fee, we are happy to remove it at any time — simply let us know.

• On a printed check: Please cross it out, and we will remove it.
• On a handheld payment device: Ask your server, and it will be taken off right away.
